I founded twosparks to enhance and develop accessible websites by focusing on efficiency and clarity.
Always passionate about web standards, speed and accessibility, I started my career as a self-taught front-end developer.
For the past 20 years, I’ve led technical teams developing quality software for web and mobile for some of the largest brands.
At AKQA, a digital creative agency, I led technical management for clients such as United States Postal Service, Delta Air Lines and AARP. At REI, I managed teams through a number of digital transformations, including the move toward accessible and inclusive software development.
In addition to my work experience before founding twosparks, I earned a master’s degree in business from Chicago Booth. Given my background, both professionally and academically, I felt well positioned and compelled to start twosparks, offering web development, accessibility remediation and technology consulting.
So, why does your company need twosparks?
At present, twenty percent of the population requires assistive technology, yet only ten percent of websites meet basic accessibility guidelines.
We can enhance your site to ensure accessibility compliance while reaching more potential clients.
My two sparks are my two wonderful children. They help me see what’s truly important.
Essentially, that’s the goal of twosparks: Declutter technology, improve accessibility and focus on what matters most.
